Iron 883 Performance Question

For what it's worth, I put on V&H short shots, joker breather, and X14ied's on my Nightster. It definitely woke the bike up. I can't tell if I'm missing low end or high end or whatever because I've never ridden anything else and I know for sure that it's better than it was stock.
That being said, I am looking to possibly ditch the short shots and go to a 2-1 like the bobcat. Partially for added performance and partially because that's the direction I'm taking the look of my bike.
As for the "everyone has them" on the short shots. This seems a fair statement he on the forums, but I live in metro Detroit and have yet to see another bike like mine. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

For OP...trade your 883 for a Dyna - done!
Seriously, you can do the initial sdt UG (pipes/air/tuner), but not gonna gain much in the performance factor unless you go w/the 1200 kit. Nightrider has a good write-up on the process:
