Default Thunderheader rejet question

Hey everyone, I just put a thunderheader on my 06 1200c and I'm wondering if I need to rejet the carb. I did a forum search and asked people I knew and i keep hearing yes and no. I also heard some people saying I should have it tuned on a dyno. So basically I'm just wondering if any of this is absoultey needed and what are the advantages/disadvantages. Thanks for the help.
