Finally located a 6mm allen wrench...umm, smooth chrome lowers.

I measured the fluid I drained from each leg and it came up about 12oz's, so that is what I put back in...used ATF instead tho.

Aw, rat spit...just figured out the stock front brake line is not going to fit with these new bars/trees. I forgot the stock hardline bolted to the top tree, a provision not available on the new one. Now the hunt for banjo adapters and 3-AN line. Why are the Sportster brake calipers the ugliest thing on the planet? If I could figure out an alternative I would scrap the entire brake system front to rear.

Ya, damn. I think the Nightster bolts to the bottom clamp (if I remember correctly). I hadn't thought about a new mounting point. So thanks Rick...something else to think about in the wee hours.

Finally wrestled the rear tire off. The new fender does not have a cut-out for the ECU...I will either have to find a new hole to stuff it in or duplicate the cut-out in the new fender. Hoping maybe there is enough space inside the battery side cover.

Yep, looks like it will just fit inside the battery side cover...

Oh man, that is looking sweet. Love the front tire, and the paint job. Glad to see the ECM fits under the side cover. That's where I planned to put mine. Don't remember if you've said yet in this thread, but what seat are you putting on it?

And hey, what'd you do...stay up all night?
