yea i ride 2-up on my iron ( I weigh 150lb and my gf 125lb ) and it is comfortable, however my friends who are 6'4 and weighig just about 300lbs themselves are in no way comfortable on my bike ( even with forwards and esp drags as they have to lean forward ) not to mention they dwarf the bike. WHile it is possible for someone of that size to own a sportster, I cant imagine it would be th most enjoyable ride in he long run

I'm in the same boat as the OP. Forwards are the only must have if I get the bike I'm looking at.

Any ideas on labor hours for the dealer to do the forward install on an Iron 883?

Not yet, the front is still a bit stiff, but it is not that bad. Maybe someday I will do the Progressive fork springs too.

I have back problems also, and when I added the forwards I also added a Mustang seat with a drivers back rest.. the back rest for me is a must on any bike that my feet are forward of my seat.
