The vinyl wrap is surprisingly easy. I own a company which has a vinyl division so i have some experience but if you buy the correct 3M car wrap material it works well.

Bike is coming along. Waiting for the tank to be powder coated (clear), LED tail light so i can put it together. I made my own side mount license plate holder. CNC'ed the shape bent and painted it. Just waiting on $5 ebay license plate LED bolts off ebay.

Was thinking about doing some brass but i am afraid i will screw up the look with a mix of old and new school?

Hey guys here is an update.

Slammers installed, fender chopped and Rush Shorty exhaust wrapped. I noticed a lot of guys wrap the exhaust without the heat shields, I wanted them to look fat so i left them on.

Coming along nicely... That 3m wrap is pretty neat.

Looking forward to seeing that tank mounted, I just chopped my 48s rear fender (canadian version) and am debating sanding both the tank and fender, the powdercoating it clear. I hate that factory "Sportster" decal on the tank.

One word of caution, i've heard rumors that when wrapping pipes over the heatshield their susceptible to holding water, maybe some hi temp silicone spray will help... Just something to look out for.

I dig the fat look though!

Oh, and rotate those turn signals so they're not pointing at the sky.

How much do the clear powder coat set you back? I'm planning on getting the same bare steel gas tank look
