Default Custom Chrome Forwards

Well a couple moths ago I bitched and moaned about how shitty the CCi forwards were, made in china garbage. My shift shaft and shift lever both stripped and I could not shift the bike. After using a Road king shifter and a hammer I got it to work, but I complained to Custom chrome and after 3 weeks they sent me replacement parts. I bolted up the new parts and rode for about 100 miles. This morning on my way to work, the new parts failed again, unable to shift my bike and now I am stuck at work. I plan to take the parts off, grind off the shitty chrome and tack weld the shift lever to the shift shaft...What a pain in the ***....A word to the wise, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CUSTOM CHROME!!!!!!! i am officially boycotting them.

Ask for a refund and buy HDs, they work just fine for me.

ok so instead of working like I should have been, I decided to fix the shifter. My buddy and I drilled, tapped and loctited this bolt inbetween the shift lever and shift shaft. Looks ugly, but seems to hold up pretty strong.
