Hardstreet claims their Slimbags will fit the Harley Sportster. I would disagree. I own a 08 Sportster 883C and the photograph is of these bags as they were install by a HD dealership. They made it work but the gaps between the fender and the bags is more than two inches this will create an air foil. Hopefully Hardstreet with exchange these bags for the 6er bags. The design of these bags are best for the flush fenders of the dyna models but in my opinion the tapered fenders of the Sportsters will require so much modification it looks stupid. I just want other people to realize just because Hardstreet says their bags will fit your bike does not means it will fit well. Look at their website, if they do not share a photograph of your bike and their bags then beware.
