Default Hawk Brake Pads?

Was looking at the CVP Performance website. They carry Hawk brake pads, seems like a reasonable price, too.

Anyone tried these pads?

Well if the quality is anything like the automotive line then I would definitely try a set. I used to run hawk pads on my Subaru which was 50% street driven and 50% track and I loved them. Pretty much everyone ran hawks and every vendor carried them and sold tons.

i also had great experiences with Hawk pads, on my Mazda. I had a horrible experience with EBC greenstuff pads, tons of noise and crazy amounts of brake dust.

I've run greenstuff pads on both my Ford Rangers, best/longest wearing pads I've used ever on my trucks. Little dust, no wear of rotors. Been working on my own vehicles for 38 years.

Maybe the greenstuff car pads are different compound, but I have nothing bad to say about EBC.

Thanks for the input on the Hawk pads. Did you use the motorcycle pads?

Just want to compare apples to apples.

Another one going with Hawk pads on my car. Should be here Wednesday.

On my bike I have Lyndall Z-Plus brakes and love them.
