Question oil level on custom oil tanks?

Guys so i just about wrapped up my hard tail project and i was wondering how the hell do you check the oil level? i couldn't reuse my stock dipstick.

I purchased a oil tank from BUNGKING.com and its says it holds 3.5 quarts but how do i know if its low or if i have enough cycling through the motor thanks guys for your help

I'd just fill it with 3 quarts of oil and use a custom stick to learn how high it reads.

You want the oil return to be above the oil level in the tank. In other words, don't submerge the return inlet to the tank. Since it's a custom tank, you'll have to figure out the dipstick.
