Default Stage 1 EFI Question

Here is a question I can't seem to find on the internet, after performing the stage 1 = super flow intake and V&H straight shot slip ons, on my 2013 48 - the next step is to go with either the fuel pack or Power Commander, my question is will it hurt the motor if I put that off for a bit but continue to riding the bike? I hear very little popping if any at all..

Nope, ran mine for 8 months, 5000 miles with air filter and pipe upgrade.
I recommend a Power Vision over a piggy back tuner. that way your running a
actual map for your setup.

PowerVision...or the Power Commander...is a bit overkill for just a stage one setup. Of those two, I like the PowerVision better because of what barrygreen said. I'm not a fan of piggy back systems. You're ECM will adjust fueling soime for the Stage 1 so you should be fine.

Put some XiED's on it. They are $100 new. You might be able to find some for sale used also. I just did Khrome Werks slip ons with the XiED's and it smoothed out the bike. No more surging trying to hold a constant speed. No decel popping once the bike is warmed up.

Difficult to quantify. What is "hurt"? Will it perform with less power than it might have otherwise? Probably. Will the motor suffer damage it would not have otherwise? Hard/impossible to say. Was the motor tuned to the lean side beforehand - definitely yes. Is it running even leaner now? Yes. Will that hurt the motor? Some say yes, some say no. Truly the definition of "depends", "maybe", "no proof one way or another".

I wouldn't ride it with your current set up. Get some sort of fuel management whether it be X14's or a full blown tuner.
