Default Clutch Replacement

Hey guys. I just replaced my factory clutch in my 2006 Roadster with a Alto Carbonite clutch kit. It was fairly straight forward following the tutorials that are here and on other sites. There were a few omissions in the tutorials that would have helped a first timer but overall it was helpful. One tip; Measure your old stack height to ensure that you put the correct number of plates in. I will be happy to answer any questions that any first time owners or anybody else may have about a clutch pack change out. The stock clutch looks really good but after reading horror stories about the spacer disc coming apart I decided to be proactive. Ride safe

i may be replacing my clutch soon. First i thought it was my adjustment that was off, then the cable that needed lube. But still having some grabby issues with 1st so i may just replace the clutch and see how that helps. Are there any special tools needed? I have not yet looked at the tutorials. Thanks in advance

just had a Barnett extra plate clutch installed along with a Barnett clutch spring, less than 10,000 miles and brass rivets already showed signs of wear !! Clutch lever a bit stiffer definitely feel the clutch engage now

I would have gone with the Energy One but they were not offering their deal with the tool at the time I ordered so I went with Alto because they are one state over and have a good rep for competition clutches. I also used Red Line transmission dope. I did have to buy the spring compressor but I saw a few that were home built while doing my research.

Alto DOES NOT really recommend Red Line for a street bike
I emailed tech support and asked about Royal Purple 20W50 MC and was told it was fine.

Most Rubbermount Sporties will use 19 Alto plates but the kit comes with 21
