And the opposite of what this guy is doing

Opposite of this guy

At first I thought this guy had it by getting a butt cheek off........but then he leans the wrong way.

No need to hang this far off but you could greatly increase your speed without scraping if you did

This guy should just turn in his man card.

Scooting your butt off, but leaning away from the corner, instead of into it, is called being "crossed up".

Its something you see guys do because they try to emulate racers without having actual race lessons, so they get it wrong.

Its kinda like the guys who brag about having no chicken strips on the street. Just makes me scratch my head.

If the pegs have those feelers you can unscrew them.

No BS. You can use the chin over wrist technique. I have taken the advanced riders course and this is the technique they taught us for cornering cruisers.

I scape my pegs also. The feelers on the end are a reminder that your low enough (LOL). My foot just automatically raises up off the peg when scraping as the peg most times lifts also. I try not to do it, but.......
I still love leaning into those curves! It's one of the reasons I bought a Sportster.

Yes adjust your riding style = no cost
Yes longer rear shocks, stiffer fork springs (plus increase the shock compression) will give you more ground clearance = $500 cost or more

Removal of the foot peg "feelers" I would not recommend.
They serve as a warning that the kick stand tab and exhaust pipes are going to scrape next.

Hey Kenny, stop clouding the issue with facts.

I just keep grinding more off my kick to gain even more lean angle.

When I got rid of the feelers it added more lean angle and I rarely scraped anything. Plus, adding aftermarket pegs gets rid of them. I have the Heel Raisers now and have more room than I did before.
