Wow great story, touches home brother. My Dad and I don't talk much but back in 2006-2007 he bought a brand new Heritage and I though, hmmm, this might be it. This might be my last time to ride with my Pop. He is 30 years older than me and all. I ran out one season later and bought my 1996 Fatboy. That very first ride togther stays with me to this day. Life is to short man, geter done now don't wait till it's too late. Love the story, thanks for sharing.

Fantastic story! What a great grandfather and he's lucky to have you for a grandson. It sounds like his days on this earth are limited, so you are wise to create some lasting memories.
My father-in-law just turned 80 and decided to sell his Ultra. Here he is with his bride of 60 years:

Stuff like this breaks my heart, many don't deserve cancer or any other type of disease. My grandmother always use to say that "bad weed never dies." Of course in spanish. Family is very important, love and memories are those that last a lifetime. May your grandfather live many good years more, wish you the best! Congrats on a special day, memories like this last should not be limited to just one day, but for many others to come...
