My saddlebag mounts are homemade. They mount exactly like the QD sissy bar except in reverse direction. They mount over the same style mounting points as the sissy bar but with the wide and narrow pieces reversed. So I have double mount points on it. That way I use the exact same style of locks as the sissy bar. Its the same rotating clip that has the key lock on it.
Am in town right now but can snap some pics when I get home is you like. I posted a thread on the whole project. Maybe will see If I can find that.

This is the brackets with bag removed. You can see double connecting brackets, the outer one is for the bag. The funny looking bolt to its right is where I insert a big thumb screw to keep bags from moving around while on the road. Works perfect.
Here the bag is mounted. As you can see the locking latch is to the front, and you can see the silver thumb screw to control wobble.
This was what my recently added tail/brake LED lights look like.
Got it all shined up, it has rained and washed all the road salt away and the weather is going to be nice(r) this weekend!
The dealer I bought my bike from apparently has now become a Livewire seller. They got their first Livewire in yesterday, might ride up and finally get to check one out.

So many weekends this winter have gotten into the upper 40's/lower 50's. Perfect riding weather. I always see people out riding, and I just grumble as I check the forecast and see it dropping into the 20's in coming nights, making it silly to take it out of storage yet. I have never experienced a winter this mild in PA, and it twists the knife every time.
But I am now the proud owner of a 2002 Owners Manual mistakenly sent to me when I ordered the 2003 Service Manual, and rather than ask for the book back, they just refunded me the money. AND I ordered a proper 2003 Service Manual. So now I have both for the price of the more expensive one. OK. I may not be able to ride or tinker, but at least I have something to read and properly prepare.
