I vaguely remember watching a few episodes of that show, did not know/remember the line from it though.

Ended up riding right at 100 miles this afternoon, didn't stop anywhere other than to fill the tank up, so I guess I ended up back home.

As far as what I did to the Sportster, I installed the new battery in the 1200 Custom this afternoon. I managed to get everything situated with the two bikes and the Ford Focus so I could get the car in the garage for tonight. They are predicting SEVERE weather over night with LARGE hail. I do NOT want hail damage to my car. It's a tight fit, but I got the car in the garage.
Is your CC Rider seat like the one below?

Had a 200 mile run yesterday, a bit chilly but fun. Still some patches of snow on the slopes.

No, the 1200 Iron seat I had on the bike had that diamond pattern in it, never was a fan of it. I bought the seat with the orange straight stitching. Comfortable seat as far as my butts concerned.

As I have the seat and I like the shape which is very similar to what the CC looks like for the rider I had my HD 2 up SuperLow seat reupholstered with a gel insert.

I am yet to go on a ride of any real distance but a round trip of 50 or so miles and it felt pretty good.

The cost was about the same as a new CC seat so I thought it was worth doing. The main thing is the guy put a water proofing layer in so the rain won't get to the foam like it used to.

Thanks for your reply, I bought the one with the orange piping to match the orange on my leather tank emblems.

I REALLY like this bike. If I was going to buy a newer bike, this would be it for sure.

Just wondering (since I just saw some yesterday), have you ever seen a set of original "Oak Leaf" Harley emblems ?

Thanks,
