Yep, 2 stage powder coat. Black then clear coat metal flake. Rear fender and gas tank next!

Installed my new DK Custom Bear Claw pegs and went for a ride. Most comfortable pegs I've ever tried. Big improvement over ISO pegs.

Just put a new (to me) seat on the XLX. This one is off a 1990's 883 Deluxe model, and I think it looks pretty good on the Ironhead, complimenting the lines. It actually got up to 60 degrees today, so I also took it for a spin. Pretty comfy, and it did a good job of killing the vibes through the seat.

Put X14IEDs on her about a week ago. Wanted to put a few hundred miles on before i commented.

It is rare a product does what it claims. I won a bet. IEDs were the prize so I paid nothing for the new awesomeness.

Yesterday I installed a prototype solo seat and rode to a couple of appointments.

Super comfortable!

I took the baffles out of my cycle shacks and installed thunder torques. Wow what a difference I love the sound now. Its louder but more importantly a deeper sound.

Dude, I was waiting for someone to mention that so I can reply. I have cycle shacks and rode with them for a while with just the baffles. The sound was awesome, loud but not so deep. So I installed the W158 with the baffle. I'm not liking the sound, its like its too restrained and still loud (imagine that). Do you believe if I remove the baffles and add the TTIs instead I'll get a deeper tone?

Thanks
