Installed my FP3 and Arlen Ness air cleaner. Is there a way to clear the O2 sensor error permanantley? I installed some short shots and have the check engine light on I read you can buy a resistor and use that to trick the sensor to thinking it's still attached, has anyone else tried it?

If you go into the FP3 through the app, go to Maintenance, then select Rad Trouble Codes. Find out what the code is... fix it, then clear the Trouble codes from that same screen.

I still have details to work out on the makeover, but she's running and looking a little less shabby. :)

I can't fix the code, I no longer use O2 sensors due to the exhaust swap.

Sold it to the insurance company since it got totaled in an accident. Jackass in incoming traffic turned right in front of me. I was able to miss his truck, but hit the enclosed utility trailer he was pulling. Could have been way worse. Only ended up with some aches & pains and 10 stitches in my knee. Put a deposit down on a 2015 street bob.

Congrats on surviving!
Congrats on the new ride!

I believe you need o2 eliminators. Google search o2 eliminators for sportster and you will come up with a few options.

10 years is damn impressive.
Was it doing the standard XL1200 hesitation before start?
I've replaced 2 batteries in 2 and a half years on 2 different Sporties.
Both hesitated before starting prior to battery replacement but there was no hesitation after replacement on either bike.
I keep reading that hesitation is normal for a 1200, but I'm not sure I'd agree with that.
