Actually, there is the SE street performance tuner which does EPA or carb or whatever abiding stuff and let's you change basically nothing, and then there is the SE pro super tuner which let's you change everything you can imagine, however it's not tree hugger legal and may void your warranty.

Perhaps because it does away with the O2 sensors ?

The reason this was said is that the sporty doesn't have some of the features in the ecm like the big twin. No knock detection, no pe mode. Maybe a few others I am forgetting. The concept though is a lot of people don't want a piggyback unit and that is the pcv downfall. It doesn't work better by any means just less features than better tuners and you will pay a little less for the pcv.

On my current Sporty I ran the X14iED's for 3 years when it was a Stage 1 883. I was completely satisfied with it...yes, I knew I was leaving some power on the table, but I was ok with that.

When I did the NRHS 1250 conversion I went with the Power Vision.

I have used the SERT, SESPT, TTS & PCV in the past on various bikes. I like the Power Vision the best...for me the gauges and ease of auto-tuning make it stand out from other options.

Here is an overview of most of the popular options for EFI on Harleys-

I have been using a Fuel Moto Micro Tuner for a while now, without any issues.

Both products are made by the same company that the sale person works for, DynoJet.

I agree with you, despite what the sales person said, I prefer the Power Vision over the PCV.
