Hello Everyone, I am helping a friend look for a seat for her 94 Sportster off E-Bay and I am wondering what years fit the 94, I see conflicting range of years listed on some of the listings, some say 82-2003 others say 82-95, anyone have some insight? I could do some modifying if it is needed to make a later seat fit as there seems to be many more of them listed, Thanks

 

Anything from '82-'03 should fit, depending on which tank is on the '94. If it has a larger 3+ gal tank, a few older seats that are a bit longer in front may hit the tank. Many of the later model seats are contoured to meet the larger tanks used on those bikes, so they may look a bit strange if the '94 has the small 2.25 gal tank. You just need to take a good look at the front part of the seat and try to decide if it will work.

 

Thanks for the info! exactly what I was looking for, it has the larger tank on it so I should be good with a later seat.
