Default Put on exhaust now got a CEL

So over the weekend I put on an exhaust, the V&H ShortShots. I ride in a lot of traffic and was getting tired of being merged into so figured they should be able to hear me know.
After I installed I got a CEL for the front O2 sensor being inactive, code is P0134 my question is did I mess up the o2 sensor while removing/installing, or is it a ECU thing and needs tune to get rid of.
Is there a way to have the o2 sensor tested to know if its bad or not? I don't want to just order a new one if that isn't the issue. Is the inactive o2 sensor a wide ranging code or specific to not getting a signal from it.

I have a '14 Iron no other engine mods (well its a stock 1200) but no aftermarket stuff just exhaust now.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks,

Swap your front sensor to the rear and see if the code follows.

Also, check to make sure it is plugged in correctly and if one of the wires pulled out. I had a similar incident recently and found one of the wires in the pigtail was broken.
