Like most of the times, our clients don’t know what they want. So the task at hand for this build was to get the good looks and aggressive style!
This time we got 1200 XLT. T stands for Touring, so we knew what to do. Just strip all the parts down, cut rear fender, make a shorter front and put a peanut gas tank up. Easy. XLT version is the lowest in height version of Sportster models, but we made it lower even more anyway.
Special custom seat, Drag-bars, aggressive looking exhaust and we made this bike differ from what we got at first. Like always, there was lots of work with the chrome to become black, but now it is a fashion - Black on black and a little bit more black. Also, we did some work with the tires measurements: it is always hard to decide and you need to know some things to make it work well. Now you can ride it in a mud and track, which I think is not possible to make it with Sportster. But fashion and desire to look modern are always above performance.

I'm new to the site. I was looking for info on changing the engine sprocket when I ran across this site. I found a lot of good info and wound up changing out the 34 tooth for the 38 tooth. I thought I would pay it forward and fill in a few of the blanks that maybe helpful to someone thinking about doing the same. I will post that on the other thread if I can find it and don't get side tracked by another cool trick I find here. Any way here's my bike. I've been making parts in my shop like the handlebars, sissy bar, light brackets, linkage, and the leather too. Its still a work in progress. Also want to say thanks to everyone that put up a picture.
