No cats.

They reuse all the stock heat shields, and since they're catless, I think there's actually less heat.

I think it came in around $1,700 with shipping and everything. The Euro is close to the US Dollar.

That's hard to define. I initially installed them without the decibel killers. I think they're too loud without them installed and my wife was riding with me and she said it made her ears ring if she got in the wrong place behind me. After I put the decibel killers in, I think they're perfect and she said that they're not bad from behind anymore either.

What did you do with the o2 sensor going into the cat once you fitted these?

There's not post-cat O2 sensor, so the computer doesn't "see" that lack of cat. There are 2 O2 sensors, but they're before the cat, and it's just one for each cylinder. I haven't even retuned and it seems to run fine. It's unlikely that the stock exhaust was restrictive enough that the tune is so far off the closed loop fuel learning in the ECM can't learn to add a bit more fuel for the slight increase in airflow the exhaust change has created.

Yes there is an o2 sensor for the cat. I’ve removed it and now have a CEL light.
might be an EU spec thing but I’m not making it up 😂

Looking at the service manual- it looks like there is a post cat O2 sensor spec'd for some models

Must not be something that's in the US, or at least not on my '22. Now that you've brought it up, I went a looked, and sure enough, there's a bung in the Cobra Sport exhaust for a 3rd sensor, it just has a plug threaded in it.

Sooo, I would assume it would still work for you, though you'll probably still have to do something because that sensor probably won't behave the way the ECM is expecting once the cat is removed.

I know with cars, they make a spacer that just moves the sensor out of the direct exhaust stream. This slows the reaction down and fools the ECM into thinking the cat is working. I'm not seeing anything like that with the threads you need though. Maybe you could put it back in and see how it acts? That sensor may be mandated where you're at, but often the manufacturers have VERY loose tolerances on what info it will accept from that sensor, so it's possible you won't get a code, even without a cat installed.

Thanks for the replies so far. I’d happily install it but I don’t have anywhere to put it now I’ve got my freedom pipes fitted. Cylinder one and two still have their respective sensors.
looks like I might have to get it mapped out but that’s proving difficult, garages just don’t have any experience with these sportsters from what I’m seeing.
