So why even buy a SESTP (those letters change every time I type them!)? Why do so many folks continue to use it if they cannot tune all aspects of performance?

What was the most capable SE tuner? I thought my version was. Remember I do have the 2014 version, so not the EPA compliant version. Is it the Harley software (now vs 2014?)? I'm new to Harley tuning...

The SE tuners seem very popular, but if they are limited in what they can do against the PV and others I would expect them be discarded pretty quickly. I even see folks looking to buy used unlocked versions that, I think, are the same as what I have.

Is there a reference list of what tables are/are not available?

Sorry, you are correct, the tool is capable.

Two different products is the confusion.
The Pro SUPER Tuner (*orange box) is a proper tuning device but is no longer available in the USA.
The Pro STREET Tuner (black box) is the neutered device that can only tune to strick emissions (hot) running.

*early Pro Super Tuners we’re black.

Thanks for clarifying Bob! Though, it appears less and less that dyno tuners are choosing to use the SEPST. A PV may be inevitable (if you're a Star Trek fan: "You will be assimilated!").

Super Tuner is a great tuner, one of the best on the market. Much better than piggy back solutions like Power Commander.

The Pro Super Tuner (orange box) is fully adjustable, timing changes, VE tables, throttle setting vs rpm, everything the others are capable of. The Power Vision has a handlebar readout available for it, which can simplify some of the tuning aspects, but its not more capable that the Pro Super Tuner, just different.

Thanks to all for settling my concerns. Now to find a good tuner in my region that will work with the PST.
