Herbs is one of my favorite rides.

Haven't been to the keys in long time but would like to go again.

Jaxson's is another central meeting place with good food, most of the time.

Another is Joanie's on 41 just west of 29.

Lets Ride...

While we're talking about other cool places, how is "Stan's Idle Hour", now that Stan is no longer with us? (may he rest in peace). Have you been by there lately Bert? Good memories...

Yes, I was there two week ago. Been going there for 20 years. Not as good as when Stan was alive. Other than the burgers cooked on the grill outside the food isn't very good. Food and drinks are way over priced. There is always a BIG crowd there on Sundays and some bikes to look at. A short walk around the corner are three more places that are much more reasonable and two have live music also just more laid back. So yes, there are good memories. And as the saying goes, it's not so much the destination but how you get there that counts.

I was there last year, interesting crowd but wow, I thought I was at the Fontainebleau when I bought a beer. Crazy prices. It is a nice ride from Naples, I didn't know about the other places but will check them out next time I'm over that way.

Hey,
I know we were talking about doing Solomon's Castle on the 26th...
...But ever since Lauren mentioned the Key West Ride on Christmas Day, I've been leaning towards doing that ride instead. Wish I could do both, but I gotta pick just one. Sorry for jumping ship, but I promise that after New Years, we will have some more great FLCrew Rides. And wherever y'all ride this holiday season, keep the cagers off your keester!
I hope to get some good pics and video Friday on the Overseas Highway.

GoPro Steevo, My wife and I are coming to the Sarasota area 12/30 to 1/9. I have rented an Ultra Classic for three days, 1/4 - 1/6, right now we are planning on just a little local site seeing. I know there's something call thunder by the bay happening the fallowing weekend but won't have the bike for that. I'll check back here before we leave to see if anything interesting is going on during those days.
Chuck.

Our trip to Sarasota the first week of January was a blast.

I thought the lake O ride way back when the miami crew burned down the sonny's in clewiston was a classic!

Also the Cherry Pocket is a nice ride through the groves.
