I have a group of friends riding from Port St Lucie to Fort Myers on Saturday 1-9-16 for bike night. We are staying at the Holiday Inn Historic Downtown. Anyone who wants to join us can get a room, or just meet us there.

We are leaving PSL around 9-930 am heading to Fort Myers via Clewiston area. All back roads. We should be in Fort Myers around 1-2 pm. I think we are going to eat lunch at Burgque on Cleveland Ave.

then we will check into the hotel. sit around the pool. Maybe head over to Fort Myers Harley. Go out for dinner and then to Bike night. Head back to the hotel and party the night away. Will be a great time.

 

If you like Country Music check out the stage in front of the bar Cowboy Up on Hendry St. Band is called the Ben Allen Band, great country band. They start at 600 pm.

 

Not sure if this is going to happen. Calling for 70-80% rain on Saturday. I hope it changes.

Weather not looking so great for Bike Nite. 70% chance of rain after 1:00 pm Sat. Maybe it will change....but not looking good.

 

There is an event called Thunder by the Bay in Sarasota from January 7 - 10th.
Might make for a nice trip for you to stop in Arcadia for breakfast/lunch as you commute across to Sarasota for a look at Thunder by the Bay.
Been to Thunder by the Bay before and they have a nice relaxed set-up.
They close the downtown area to cars and bikes park in the street for free.
Live music after something like 1pm but it is open from something like 11am with the usual bike shows, food and merchandise tents..

 

Yeah, we cancelled our trip. We will try again at a later date.
