The wife and I always enjoy the Starke fest. It's usually a good show for a small town, they just need to keep it in August and not move it around to October like they did two years ago. I don't think they even held a rally last year. Thanks for posting, I didn't know it was going on.

 

Oh yeah, October would not be good. Too close to Biketoberfest, which I'll be going to this year. I just happened to come across the Starke Bike Fest while on FB. I'm in Nassau County, so it's close for me.

 

Heading over Saturday morning, leave Live Oak about 7 AM, will take 100 from Lake City to Starke.

 

Cool. I have to change the alternator in my truck tomorrow morning. Hope to head to Starke around Noon or 1. Should over there around 2pm-ish. I bought my Street Glide from a guy in your neck of the woods.

Left home just before sunrise, clear blue skies, pleasant temperature, and nearly empty roads on the trip to Starke. Ride home was fairly hot, puffy clouds, and passed many bikes headed towards Starke... no rain on my trip.

 

The wife and I rode down. About an hour for us. We got there around 2. Spent a couple hours. I was disappointed that they didn't sell event t-shirts but other than that it was worth the ride.
