Last Ride of the Year
Just had an email forwarded to me about a date change for the Annual Last Ride of the Year. Not sure if any of the crew have made the trek in the past but it’s definitly a cool event.
“From John Harrison:
News flash!
The Cafe has just informed me tonight that they are unable to host the event on the 30th this year. There was apparently some miscommunication last month when I thought the 30th was confirmed with the staff.
I know many of you plan vacation time around the event always being on the 30th. All I can do at this point is apologize for this late change in the date to Saturday the 29th.
I would appreciate everyone sharing this change in date with your groups, clubs, forums, and lists.
If this unexpected change keeps you from being able to attend, I am very sorry and I hope you will make plans to attend next year.

It’s an annual ride in gathering at the Stagecoach Cafe in Stockton, AL Attended by a lot of long distance riders, IBA members, all types of bikes plus locals. It’s been going on 20 plus years. The legendary John Ryan UCC record holder was was there a few years ago right before his untimely passing. There will be riders there who have literaly come across country just to attend. It got moved up a day earlier this year so it would be pretty disappointing to ride up from say Miami and be a day late on Sunday.
