Trail Of Tears
ANyone interested in riding 235 miles with an estimated 120,000 bikes can do so on the documented largest motorcycle ride in the world.
Its the Trail of tears ride that begins in Chattanooga TN, and ends in Waterloo Al

Trail of Tears
The bikes stretch fo more than 50 miles. Average speed is 40 mph. Police escort all the way to Waterloo.
Waterloo is a stump on the road that for one day and night becomes a huge campground for most all who will continue the ride (unescorted) to Oklahoma.

RE: Trail Of Tears
I have ridden the Trail Of Tears since 1998. I got to make it all the way to Oklahoma last year. It is definetly alot of bikes on the road from Chattanooga, Tn to Waterloo, Al. We are planning on going again this year all the way to Oklahoma. It is a very well organized ride considering how many riders ride it. I think they estimated over 100,000 bikes last year. the attendance was down some last year due to the bad storms that moved acroos the state and local officials threatened to pull the permits. i can't wait, i am ready to ride. we have plans on leaving from Oklahoma and going up in to Kansas and then back down thru Missouri, Tennessee and home to Alabama. We rode south last year and came thru Texas and Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama.
