New FL Crew member. After 5 other make cruisers, finally went and found my Harley. Picked up a 2010 FXD Super Glide last week. Going to enjoy learning how to care for it, what it has after stock wise, and what I want to do to it. Mostly I'll enjoy the ride.
Beachside, in ur 2nd pix above u have the Exploration Tower in the background. The rating is GOOD but when I read about the place it came off as "meh" to me.
We have a Florida interactive map in the upper/sticky part of this forum. I was wondering, did you go inside this tower? If so, would u recommend my posting this place as a POI on our map?

Meh is a pretty accurate description. Is it worth :30 before or after lunch at one of the nearby restaurants. Sure, it's free.
It's a great view because FL is flat, but typically there isn't much to see. A cruise ship is usually in the way of the launch pads, but if you're lucky there won't be one. Can see a long way into the ocean but the view of water from the beach is much better. At night it lights up, you can't get in after 5, but it looks great.
The restaurant /bars in that stretch are pretty good. So if you decide on Rusty's, Gators, Grills, or Fishlips,, etc, stop in and take a look, but imo, it doesn't merit a go out of your way stop.
