This Thurs and Fri are supposed to be absolutely awesome. Been awhile since I have had weather this good on my days off. I am gonna do some riding.

I think Thursday I will head out from Ocala about 7:00AM heading northwest and take 98 out of Perry into the Panhandle as far as I feel like going before I turn around and head home. Will be back in Ocala by Dark.

Friday I am going to head out at 7:00 once again and take 129 or 121, or some other 2-lane road, north into Georgia until I feel the need to turn back around. At that point I will grab a southbound 2-lane back to Ocala. Once again being back by dark, or there about.

Anyone that feels the urge to warm some oil and log some miles is free to join me in Ocala, or I can meet up with you somewhere along the way. I just got a new seat with a double dose of Mean City Cycles memory foam, and I wanna see how it works out for me.

I expect to log a bare minimum of 500 miles each day, so plan accordingly!

Josh be careful around Sefferdog. He is not afraid to ride and is not kidding when he says 500+ miles a day but if you want to go for a serious ride there is no one better to hang with. Though he has been known to run up to Ga just for a tank of gas or to TN for a White Castle burger, he will stop and get a pack of crackers or some beef jerky for lunch so it's all good.

Luckily he likes to stop by the time the street lights come on.

 

LOL, Sounds like my kind of rides!! Sounds like you're talking from experience. I like doing long distance rides, but don't have time now. Maybe someday soon though.

 

I think I can do Friday. I hope GA warms up also by then. I will let you know soon.
