I never considered the price of AIR. LOL.....The newest craze is nitrogen; but I didn't go for that.
Be careful if you mail-order. Some of the oldest tires on earth will be shipped directly to your front door. A buddy of mine just received a new rear tire that turned-out to be 7 years old after decoding the manufacturing stamp/code. I don't think I like em that old, no matter what minimal discount you get.
How many miles did you get out the ones you're trying to replace? Were they OEM or other?

If you order on-line, it's best to stick with the high volume suppliers.
I usually go with Jake Wilson or Motorcycle Superstore, whichever is cheaper the day I order. Both ship quick and FREE, and I've never received a tire that wasn't manufactured within the past 12 months.
My local indy charges a flat $25 to mount and balance if you carry in the tire and wheel. To inflate, I use a "custom" blend of 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% misc. gasses.

Good idea Dave, thanks. I don't have worry about the Harley air. I bought their compressor that converts the air around you to an 80/20 Harley air mix. Not ideal, but good in a pinch.
