Poser's Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VII
Watching Anthony Bourdain in Montana. Talking about the minds frame of reference from watching shouting bobblehead anchors on the lowest common denominator of political TV to simply observing the"purple mountains majesty" of the mountains and how nothing has changed in the great wild lands where nothing has changed for thousands of years regardless of the mind numbing political ramblings and theoretical vs real meanings of life. An interesting perspective that I often think on when riding deeper into the country in Northern Michigan into the forests, but unfortunately ever aware of my own frailties and the risk involved in leaving the security of my doctors coverage. Damn middle age and the death sentence implied I'm going for it... if death is an absolute, better to sucomb laying on a bed of needles under a legacy pine with a good rifle by my side and perhaps my last view of the world of the darkness creeping in 'as Frost said, on silent cats paws, in and among the forests shadows then in the sterile and unforgiving lights of a noisy mind jangling hospital with a snakes nest of IVs connecting you to the unblinking alien monitors eyes and the morose looks of the healthcare clones with no real connection or knowledge of your true spirit.

You can see the pride and satisfaction that went into the construction. Your friend must love his bike like I love mine, it goes beyond ownership and becomes something more. At times when I go into the garage I find myself just looking at it. Thinking about where to go when the winds are at my back and it is warm enough to feel the sunlight warming the black leather on my shoulders.
