Mornin, Baker. Sucks that Craig is having electrical issues. I do believe those are the worst gremlins.

Mornin Mick! Yes it does, especially living up yonder with a short riding season.. They can sure be hit or mostly miss. Few more things to check than clean the points and ride on..

Couple of years back I was having a devil of a time finding what was causing the check engine light to come on. Took the seat off, checked what fuses I could, checked the battery connections, made sure the relays were tight, you name it.....duh, voltage regulator wire needed to be tightened.

I have an oil cooler sitting here that I have not installed yet because I'm going to have cut and extend a regulator wire.. I don't have the best of luck and was not about to cut that wire before a 10000 mile trip..
Probably would have busted it on the trip anyway, at best filled the fins with mud.
