Morning Greg. It doesn't matter anymore. I have a trailer full of them. Make for good padding when I go on road trips with the bike too.

Thank you guys. We very much appreciate the sympathies. Never easy to have to deal with a pet, but part of life. He's not suffering any more, though he wasn't suffering any pain. We are pretty grateful to be able to hold him and be there to the end.
Now the fun part of trying to dig through frozen ground.
