TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part X
Very few semi automatic pistols are legal for purchase here due to the microstamping regulation. You can still get a Glock gen 1, XD gen 1, s&w shields and some 1911's. Maybe an old CZ is still available.
I have an old CZ75 from the 80s that has a 17 round capacity. One of the nicest shooting guns I have. So much better than the Beretta 92f I had from that era. If you can find one, it's a good choice.
Trying to fix my shop furnace, it won’t stay lit. I’ve had this problem before on the house furnace and I’ve been able to fix it myself by removing and cleaning the flame sensor. When that didn’t work l turned to you tube and learned how to test it with a multi meter for proper operation. It tested good.
When observing the flame during operation ,I noticed that the flame coming from the nozzle in front of the flame sensor seemed a little more “lazy “ than the other burners. I checked the orifice to see if it was obstructed, nope. So I head to the heating/cooling business and figure I’ll order a new sensor anyway. He didn’t have one in stock, so we found one on the web. I was telling him about the way the flame appeared, told him I checked it for dirt. I said, I don’t know how it could get plugged ,it’s pretty large. That’s when he asked me, what type of fuel I was burning? Propane I said. So he shows me the difference between a NG nozzle and an LP nozzle. I swear mine looked like the NG one, larger hole. I may have found the problem, won’t know until I get home and can check it. Don’t know why it would have worked all these years and just now started acting up. I can tell you this I now know way more about how gas furnaces work than I ever thought I’d need to know.
Stay tuned for updates
