Bit below today and windy, put on the felt liner boots, balaclava, goggles, snowmobile mitts (40 years old this year, that's American quality), fur hat, and went to the mailbox. First time the wind chilled that jacket to chilly inside, guess I'll wear leather to block the wind if I gotta go out in that again. But it's sunny, wasn't for the wet spots in the salt ice, I'd get the Ural beast out. Yeah, salt ice, it's cold enough to freeze where it got diluted with snow melt from yesterday.

 

Sorry Moldy. That doesnt sound like fun. Its 80 something here and I wish we had a longer winter.

 

 

When I lived in Arizona, I would have been happy if January lasted all year. December or February might have been a little better. Nov-Feb were the only months it never hit 100*, and I'm not positive about November.

 

Afternoon, Woods......back to the world of the living, been under the weather last two days with chills and aches all over. Yesterday was a 3 nap day!!!!!

 

Been on the phone for 5 hours, had to swap phones already. It's kinda been a 3 nap day too
