Well the ride home from picking up my daughter at work on the bike was interesting.
Riding home on the highway (US50) I noticed a Chevy S 10 Blazer merging into traffic and the ratchet strap was being used to hold the spare tire underneath.
ANNNNNNNND, the strap breaks, tire folds under the back, squirts out still attached with the other end of the ratchet strap, bounces a few times tethered, the rest of the strap breaks, now tire is free to go where ever, it bounces a few more times and then goes ovee the side of the bridge onto the houses below. All the while I am preparing for the worst and slowing..........WHEW!
I stopped and bought an 18 pack to celebrate life.

Coming up on the surgery soon here too.
Sounds like the get together went well.
I did manage to get the bike out enough to get some riding in, but nothing like you guys.
Went to return the oxy-acetylene tanks I have and found I had bought them, so now I get to try and sell them.
Any tips for dealing with Craig's list?
Weather sucks here, either to hot or raining, or both, hard to put a finish on the last kitchen cabinet in this weather.
Hope all are well.
Alw
Afternoon Al and Stan!
All - The doc gave me some literature to look at but I don't have a consultation apt. until 8/27. My understanding is there are standard lenses and 2 varieties of upgraded lenses. The upgrades can address other issues like stigmatism, etc. Maybe the other Al can elaborate, having been there and done that.

Lunch check in on my Woodrow's....
Breakfast looked damn good Don. Baby Doll used to make me home made hash browns with garlic and jalapeno's, cover the whole plate then put 3 over easy eggs on top. Damn, miss that breakfast, gonna have to duplicate it..

ALw, my basic understanding is that the regular lens implants are for regular distance vision with the need for reading glasses and possibly lower power normal glasses. The " premium " lenses are a multifocal lens for near and distance vision without the need for reading glasses. Mine worked out great but your results may vary..maybe I got lucky..:
