All the while I am preparing for the worst and slowing..........WHEW!

I stopped and bought an 18 pack to celebrate life.
Holy crap!!! glad you are all right. Afternoon woods.

If I may ask, what are the "Premium" lens?
Coming up on the surgery soon here too.

Sounds like the get together went well.
I did manage to get the bike out enough to get some riding in, but nothing like you guys.

Went to return the oxy-acetylene tanks I have and found I had bought them, so now I get to try and sell them.
Any tips for dealing with Craig's list?

Weather sucks here, either to hot or raining, or both, hard to put a finish on the last kitchen cabinet in this weather.
Hope all are well.

Afternoon Al and Stan!

All - The doc gave me some literature to look at but I don't have a consultation apt. until 8/27. My understanding is there are standard lenses and 2 varieties of upgraded lenses. The upgrades can address other issues like stigmatism, etc. Maybe the other Al can elaborate, having been there and done that.

ALw, my basic understanding is that the regular lens implants are for regular distance vision with the need for reading glasses and possibly lower power normal glasses. The " premium " lenses are a multifocal lens for near and distance vision without the need for reading glasses. Mine worked out great but your results may vary..maybe I got lucky..:
