So far, she seems pretty enthused about it, they are hoping she can be up and walking on a prosthetic by June, but we shall see.

Mindset is half the battle!
She hasn't had much quality of life since this all started, she should have had it fused from the get go. 17 surgeries and then to have to take the foot...................
and having a positive outlook is the other half.

My OL was fortunate that one of the best foot guys in the country was on call the morning of her accident. She would have lost her foot that day if it hadn't been for him. I guess there are a few ways to look at things and sometimes I wonder when they experiment with something.

Yes sir.. been in that hole at one time or anudder... hard to look positive when crap isn't going well! Many surgeries my OL went through and broken bones because of inept Dr's decisions and diagnosis, makes me ill!
