It's not about the mounting, but whether or not you stick the landing when you dismount.

I give it a 9.5

I mount/dismount from the shiny side and I plan on keeping it up.

Man... I am with half of you here... It's going to be a long winter....

Not that it matters but in over 30 years of riding bikes I have never given it a thought and always get on from the left side.

On another note... I always put my right leg into my pants first and put my right sock on before putting my left one on.

Depending on who you ask but, I think that the "Experts" will tell ya that is not the proper way to do that operation.

I once saw a couple mount up with her on the back first and then he tried to get on after. He tore up his groin muscle and the bike fell.
