What type of socks do you wear when riding?

the fingerless gloves people have some really cool toeless socks! A must have!
Make sure you get the wool ones, as the cotton ones tend to ride up.

TO help protect yourself?
I have a HD Kevlar Jacket. Wear jeans with Harley chaps. I have HD boots (that go to about my shins), I wear full fingered HD gloves, a Full face HD helmet, HD glasses that I wear under my visor, and a HD fanny pack to keep keys, etc in. I am worried about my socks. If it is cold, I feel they may not be protected. Does HD make socks? What else do you think I need?
