Showing off my new Road Glide to a buddy and he sees the "ACC" rocker switch. So he asks me "Is that for the air conditioner?"

What's the dumbest comment you've heard?

 

I had a guy at work tell me that he'd love to learn to ride a motorcycle, but he wouldn't want to kickstart a bike everyday.

 

"I'd buy a bike, but i don't want to mess up my hair." quoted from a very serious 26-yr old male.

 

I was riding through the desert in July and it was about 115 degrees or so. I stopped at a rest area to get some water and this guy comes up and asks "isn't it hot riding on a bike right now?" I told him "no, my air conditioned grips make it pretty comfortable."

 

Everyone knows that the 'ACC' switch is short for acceleration on a HD.

I'm trying to think of the dumbest comment I've heard. So many of them.


Not to hijack here, but, last Sat. 1st ride for 2 of our bikes. Today 5" of snow on the ground, more to come here in the TwinCities...

 

Is that one of them Harley motorbikes?

 

"Isn't riding a motorcycle dangerous?"

 

Do those apehangers help you do wheelies?

 

Got cought in a storm, and stopped at a store, got asked " Whats it like riding in the rain?" I replied "wet"

 

Believe this one or not from a non-cycle owner thats why I forgave him -
"Can I ride it?"
