Winter. I Hate.

Some of us "Warm weather riders" were enjoying temps in the low 20s on the way to work last week. But we were still riding, ha ha.

We're having decent temps here in S IL for December...54 right now & I've been riding frequently except it seems like it's been raining 3 out of 4 days.
Winter - I hate
Not riding - I hate worse, so I'll just put more clothes on.

I just stopped riding a couple weeks ago and I already miss it.
I ride snowmobiles in the winter. I like old sleds because they're cheap to own and easy to wrench on. All you need is a manual and basic tools. I have a '77 Yamaha Exciter 440 and a '93 Polaris Indy 340. Got em both for less than $400. All they needed was the carbs cleaned, fresh plugs, some idler wheels and TLC.

Consider the winter project time. Who wants to work on a project when riding weather is at it's best.
I am remodeling our dining room, late last summer I put in a slider, now working on the rest of the room. Dont mind doing it now, cant ride anyway.
