I would think a lot of hair would actually make it harder to stay on..

If I wear a ball style hat I wear it forward's in town, Usually only to help block sunlight.
But when I leave town and head towards a Highway I just reach up and turn it backwards... Haven't lost one in the 5yrs I've ridden. I also snug it up pretty tight.

Most of the time I ride I use a leather capt's hat, it has a short bill on it and the wind don't effect it like a BB cap and can leave it on forwards about any time.

Heres the leather one that I've had for 3yrs.

This usually works for sporbike bros while wearing white shoes, just turn it around and BE SURE to leave the sticker on! Leaving the sticker on is key!
