I decided a couple of decades ago that I really don't care to live forever, or even very long for that matter) if it means giving up the stuff I love...and I love coffee. I also love Scotch Whisky and Irish Whiskey, riding in the rain, sailing in bad weather, extremely greasy barbecued spareribs, staying up all night for no particular reason and getting in fights with anyone who puts down America's troops or fails to show proper respect to a woman. (Yeah, I also get beat up a lot. It's worth it.)

Aside from being diagnosed with diabetes and MS, that decision appears to have done wonders for my health.

I enjoy that show, but it did cause me to go out and buy a real pair of ****in boots. The white Vans Ive always worn .............................. well, you get the point...................

I refuse to quit riding in my white DC's and my dayglow green Etnies over a TV show character. It also gives me a good reason to keep my wit sharp when some douche decides to make a comment because he's more stylish in his chaps and leather jacket with the vest over it and the leather headwrap. They're my favorites. I actually got asked the other day in the bar what kind of biker drinks miller light. I smiled and in my best Buddy the Elf voice said "It's my favorite!!!" really loud right in his face. I think he walked away because of the scene I caused.

 

I refuse to wear anything I have to buy at Nordstroms.
