Checkin' in...in case anybody comes in by mistake...

 

I believe there are those who think checkin' in here is always a mistake.

 

Nah....mild group in here...lately been dead in here.

 

Just got back from the Veterans Home. Pretty nice ceremony. Usually it's held outside, but it's 29 degrees right now. And, yup, we rode. I found out that one of the things the vets enjoy most about the Memorial Day and Veterans Day celebrations is listening to us arrive. So, since they couldn't come outside, we did two circles around the circular entrance drive out front.

Lots of guys came into the room with walkers. Still several WWII vets in attendance. Definitely worth going, and I'll do it again.

We should all do something. Stopping by is such a small thing, and they appreciate it so much.

 

A sombre day indeed.
Need to watch a comedy movie.
Or maybe hockey...are the Leafs playing?

Hi KR. I'm jealous, your bike is actually going back together. This summer kinda sucked for me, got very little done on anything. And I didn't even have a bum arm to blame, by the time it got warm, anyway. Oh well, it's white outside, and probably got 7 months of salt to wait out, mebbe I'll get some rest. And figure out what to do with the sidecar tub in the dining room...
