Just picked this one up in July. 03 RK-Inj that actually has quite a lot of goodies on her, I know there's always room for one more bling bling, LOL

how do you get good sound out of front speakers, they do not have the speaker enclosure until 2014... with nothing but open space in the fairing all you get are screaming highs , even out of high end competition series equipment...had to put 6x9 speakers in saddle bag lids to get anything decent out of it at all... what can be done? are there any other newer enclosure that can work n the 2012?? if so please let me know what to do??

I never really enjoyed the speakers. Can't hear them over the wind noise and pipes anyway. When I took off my tour pak I hung the amplifier on the wall in my garage. From that point on I used wired earbuds with a plug adapter via the jack on the tank. Last month I got a pair of these and will probably never use the speakers again. They pair up to phone via bluetooth and work great.

With the earbuds I can enjoy the music doing 85, answer calls, hear navigation and other alerts. With a press on the buttons you can adjust volume and change the music. Plus my hearing (what is left of it) is protected at the same time. Imo the fairing/saddlebag speakers are old technology.

(If you wear a full face helmet or anything other than halfshell you will need a handlebar mounted bluetooth controller or bluetooth helmet mounted sound system so you can adjust volume and change the music.)
