New Rear Fender Mod!!
Okay, the day after Valentine's Day, I ordered the SG rear fender fascia and tri-bar light. ($165 all tolled, from Zanotti's in PA; color-matched and shipped!) I was told it would take 4-to-6 weeks for them to get it, then I'd receive it after that. Well.... it was at my door tonight after work!!
I haven't decided if I will use the 3M auto trim tape to adhere the new part to my bike or affix it with screws and washers; or maybe a combination of both. Anyway... here are some pics, before and after:

This is the least expensive I found for this set-up. The tri-bar light is new and works as a brake light and taillight.
The ligth is sold separately, and I believe list price for this set-up would be closer to $250 shipped.... so I'm pretty happy!! LOL
I believe this can be done for your bike, but using the pre-2008 set-up. The rear bumper was easy to remove.
I even had a different piece on before that - the chrome v-rails.
