Very nice upgrade. Might be awhile before it warms up though.

Not too sure if you want to test that lean on the missus.

Made the same move as you last year and swapped the 07 Heritage for the 12 RK. Wish I would have made the move sooner. Like everyone has said, it rides/handles better solo or two up and I coud'nt be happier. You're gonna love the air ride adjustability too.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Good luck, keep us posted when you get it home

Thanks all. Really looking forward to picking it up. With the weather as it is right now it may be a month...like a kid at Christmas.

Great bikes...and that one looks really sharp. One thing though is that the stock RK seats were pretty uncomfortable (talking about pre-09's) but you'll figure that out by the time you get back home from KS. Congrats on the new bike.

Default 2015 Road King

Great choice! My last two bikes were a 97 Suzuki 1200 Bandit, and a 2006 Yamaha FJR 1300 Sport Tourer. Bandit was a hooligan bike, wheelie machine that I survived and enjoyed tremendously. The FJR has been a great machine and I have ridden it more miles than any other. The wife and I are retired and are going to head out with a Ford Super Duty, toy hauler, and the King for some adventures in 2015. We are pumped. The Road King is an incredible machine and sexy as hell. I am riding to Daytona Bike Week with an old friend who just retired and can't wait. Never appreciated HDs in my younger days, but I am a definite fan of this RK and am enjoying the new machine. Still adjusting, but there is nothing not to like. Enjoy your new King!
