If you live there, that's great. Following the instructions, I printed off the completed questionnaire and mailed mine to Alan to arrive at the appointment already scheduled in advance. I did have another seat to throw on till I got mine back. All in was just less than 10 days return mail from the date I mailed it.

Spoke to them about redoing a Mustang I still have (I think) but now it is a paperweight as I don't need it (yet). Hoping to get a 2nd bike this winter if finances make it possible.

Damn, I'll have to get another seat then if he needs the seat first and then I need to take the bike to him as well. But could be worse

Just as my luck would have it he can't redo my Le Pera Maverick seat. Sucks because I love how the driver back rest feels. And I hooked up an old Army buddy with my stock seat. Not sure which route to go now. Do I just bite the bullet and get a decent used stock seat or do I find someone that will modify my Le Pera?

I think MCC only modifies HD seats and some Mustangs and Corbins. They don't do LePera or C&C seats last time I talked to them.
Try these folks, as they do most custom seats like LePera and C&C. http://www.astechseat.com . Been wanting to modify my LePera Monterey a smidge - narrow the neck. Spoke to them awhile back and they said they can do, but have not sent my seat yet.
