Wow, thanks for all the props, it makes me even more proud when others like the work I've done. I haven't stopped smiling since I rode it yesterday, it's been off the road since March. Next bike I swear I'm going to learn to paint and powdercoat.

I purchased an old (2000) police bike from auction here in 2008. I had always wanted to rebuild /repurpose a police bike. Over several years I updated the trans to a Baker DD6 six speed, rebuilt engine from empty cases up with stroker crank and bored it .010 over a 103 to a 104. New intake and added a 44 mm Screaming Eagle carb and cruise control. My son got involved and we stripped down bike and replaced the swing arm to a 2007 style. Repainted it but kept the white but went to a Pearl white like Mercedes have. Replace front forktubes to chrome and added progressive monotubes. Then my son took over and it was his bike and I moved on to my Streetglide. He added nicer custom paint, Fat spoke wheels , etc etc etc (Never ends as you know). I have attached a picture of his work. (GrandDaughter on board ).
Hope you like it. Love the work you have done too. After years of idling alongside the Highways I am sure these old cop bikes love being out in the wind like they were built for.
